1. Introduction
AI Construction Manager ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a construction project management application designed to assist users with planning, scheduling, project control, cost management, progress tracking, analysis, and reporting.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, processed, disclosed, and deleted when you use the App.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, the App may process account information such as your full name, email address, authentication credentials, unique account identifiers, and email-verification status.
The App may also process construction project information that you enter, project images that you deliberately select from your device, and authentication information handled by Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In.
3. Account Information and Authentication
Email-and-password accounts are created and managed through Firebase Authentication. The App does not store your plaintext password in its local project data.
Firebase Authentication may process information needed to provide authentication, account security, fraud prevention, and abuse protection, including email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, user-agent information, and authentication identifiers.
If you choose Sign in with Google, Google and Firebase Authentication may process your name, email address, Google account identifier, profile information made available through the authentication process, and authentication tokens required to complete sign-in.
4. Project and Construction Data
Project information may include project name, number, type, description, location, contract information, dates, value, budget, currency, costs, status, progress, notes, WBS, activities, milestones, relationships, calendars, holidays, stop days, baselines, Data Dates, approved updates, actual and remaining durations, planned and actual dates, Project Control information, schedule and cost performance information, historical updates, analysis, and reporting information.
5. Information About Other People
The App may allow you to enter information relating to project owners, contractors, consultants, project managers, or other persons, including names and phone numbers.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis, authorization, or permission to enter and use information about other people.
6. Project Images
The App allows you to select a project image from your device gallery. When selected, the App creates a copy within the App's local application storage.
The current version does not automatically upload project images to our cloud servers. Removing or replacing an App-managed project image may also remove the corresponding local copy.
7. Local Project Data Storage
In the current version, project-management data is primarily stored locally on your device and is separated using the authenticated user's Firebase user identifier.
The current version does not use Firebase Firestore or Firebase Cloud Storage to automatically synchronize your construction project database to our servers.
Local storage does not mean that all project data is encrypted at rest by AI Construction Manager. You should maintain appropriate device security and backups of important information.
8. How We Use Information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, provide account recovery and password-management functions, manage projects, perform scheduling and Project Control calculations, manage WBS, calendars, costs and progress, generate analysis and reports, create PDFs, maintain App functionality and security, prevent unauthorized access or abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use project information for unrelated advertising purposes.
9. Artificial Intelligence
Despite the name AI Construction Manager, the version covered by this Privacy Policy does not currently automatically transmit users' project data to an external generative-AI provider for AI processing.
If a future version introduces AI functionality that sends project information, documents, prompts, images, or other user content to an external AI service, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate before or in connection with deployment of that functionality.
10. PDF Reports, Printing and Export
When you choose to save, print, share, or otherwise export a report, information may leave the App's local storage according to the destination you select, such as device storage, a printing service, another application, a sharing destination, or a cloud-storage service chosen by you.
After information is transferred to another application or service at your direction, that recipient's privacy practices may apply.
11. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information or construction project data.
Information may be processed or disclosed where necessary to provide authentication through Firebase or Google, complete an action requested by you, comply with applicable law or lawful requests, protect the App and its users, or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
12. Third-Party Services
The current version uses third-party services including Google Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In. These services may process information under their own terms, privacy policies, data-processing arrangements, and technical requirements.
13. Data Retention
Locally stored project information generally remains on your device until you delete it through available App functionality, delete the applicable account and local App-managed data, clear applicable App data, remove it through device or operating-system controls, or otherwise remove it from local application storage.
Authentication information processed by Firebase is subject to Firebase's own retention practices, including retention needed for security, operational backups, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
14. Account and Data Deletion
The App provides an in-app mechanism to permanently delete your account and may require re-authentication for security.
After a successful deletion, the App is designed to remove the Firebase Authentication account and App-managed local project data associated with that user on the device. Some information processed by third-party providers may remain temporarily in backups or security systems under their retention practices.

15. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App and information being processed. No electronic storage, device, network, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, account credentials, email account, exported reports, and copies of project information.
16. International Data Processing
Although much of the current construction project data is stored locally on your device, account and authentication information is processed by Firebase and Google and may therefore be processed in countries different from the country in which you reside, subject to applicable legal and contractual safeguards.
17. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict certain processing, request information about how your data is handled, and exercise other rights provided by data-protection law.
Some account information can be managed directly through the App. For other privacy-related requests, contact support@aiconstructionmanager.app. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
18. Your Responsibility for Project Data
You are responsible for the information you enter into the App and for determining whether you are authorized to process it. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for complying with that organization's applicable policies and contractual obligations.
19. Children
AI Construction Manager is a professional construction and project-management application and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App contrary to applicable law, contact support@aiconstructionmanager.app.
20. No Sale of Personal Data
AI Construction Manager does not sell users' personal information or project information and does not sell project data to advertisers or data brokers.
21. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Future versions may introduce cloud synchronization, cloud backup, collaboration, additional authentication methods, AI services, analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, payment services, or other integrations.
If changes materially affect how personal information is collected, used, stored, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate. The Last Updated date will identify the most recent revision.
